This is one of the books that I read this year, that was so heart wrenching, i had to keep the book away to process what was going on.
Theodore Finch the main character is fascinated by death,and constantly tries to kill himself and also battles with depression and anxiety.
One day while attempting to jump from the school's bell tower, he finds a girl (Violet) standing o the ledge. Devastated by her sister's death, she feels she doesn't deserve to live.
He ends up saving her life and so their story begins.
After being put in a school project together with theodore against violet's wish, they end up visiting many places in Indiana.
They eventually fall in love with each other, but their love story is not like any other.
But, as Violet's world grows, Finch's begins to shrink.
As much as finch tries to push her away because of his own anxiety and troubles, violet tries to love him with all her might.

This soul gripping, story of love between two struggling teenager's bring in so many mental issues to light.

This novel got me all teary eyed and emotional and I couldn't get over it for weeks.
Can't stress enough why everyone should read this book.
